The last grider you'll ever have to buy.  Mazzer Super Jolly, with new bearings, recent burr set, and new factory "short" hopper.
 
NOT overkill if you're serious about putting a great espresso grinder in your kitchen.   Although the non-believers in your household my disagree!  Ha!   
 
Mazzers are beasts, but the new short hopper does help in the "size" department.  And the new bearings mean you can stop waking up the neighbors when you grind in the morning.
