A La Pavoni rarity. A complete brass Romantica set, that belonged to a couple who didn't drink espresso, and never used it! This model is no longer imported into the US, or available in 110 volts, so this is a unique chance to buy a basically new brass Romantica with custom nickle plated brass eagle (Romanticas are essentially the Professional model with a flat top boiler to allow for a "fancy top" and turned wood handles, resettable overheat switch, and some other upgrades.) There are some discolored spots along the bottom right hand side and back of the brass base (see pics.) They don't detract much from the presentation of this one, but we're discounting the "spots" in the price. If you've been looking for a brass Romantica, it'll be hard to find a better deal than this one!
Comes with the "matching" La Pavoni Tre Spade (PGB model) conical burr grinder (their decent small home model) and the large La Pavoni base (metallic charcoal color, with built in drawer/knock box.) The grinder has some odd streaks on the "brass" sides of the plastic case (perhaps from overly agressive cleaning by previous owners?) but it has never had coffee in it!

Since this is basically "new" old stock, we're giving a one year warranty on the mechanics. The "exceptions" are the heating element (if you keep water in your machine when it's on, you'll be fine!) grinder burrs, and any "user abuse" (meaning we don't cover stuff dropped on a concrete floor!) "Aesthetic" issues (like there's a scratch on something) are also not covered. Return shipping costs not covered. Thanks!
